radish

I live in Williamspoint (aka: the edge of the McCarren Park where Greenpoint and Williamsburg meet) and have ALWAYS walked past Radish. Yesterday I went in for the first time.
If you love homegrown, locally prepared food, look no further than Radish. 158 Bedford Avenue is the place to go for hearty hot and cold food (local and organic!)

They just put their f/w menu into play and it's going to be my new favorite place to get a hot meal in the cold Brooklyn weather.

milk bar

All good thriftsters support local farmers. Especially when local farmers make delicious milkshakes at Chelsea Market! We had a lovely little outing at RonnyBrookFarms milk bar in Chelsea Market. If milkshakes aren't your thing they also have delicious coffee (gimme!) sandwiches, soups, yogurt, smoothies, cookies, and ice cream.
